CRITICAL RESOURCES Covid-19 Awareness Needed to Save Lives

 ATTENTIVE COVID-19 CRISIS AWARENESS CAN SAVE LIVES:

If you are in the essential service or work from home service industry particularly in government, finance/collections, and  employment/recruiting/staffing, your awareness of the COVID-19 Impacts can help and save lives or hinder and contribute to crisis

I saw a few recruiters recently flame emails from candidates denied jobs, commenting on how crazy and mean candidates are. Truly from a recruiting point of view Covid-19 has drawn out job interview, hiring and decision cycles. Recruiters are challenged with not being able to close requisitions and a dual edged sword for communicating.

I also have talked to people who are struggling during the COVID crisis with social and financial issues that have them considering suicide. I have talked to the family of people who lost family members who felt their loved one’s decision to commit Suicide came from feeling no one understood them or the escalating sense of uncontrollable health or financial situations. Recruiters, Social Service Agencies, Government workers, Health Care Workers, if you were the LAST person who could save someone’s life, would you KNOW how to recognize it. Would you KNOW what to do. Recruiters if you POSTED that type of message only to realize that the candidate that just went off on you, did so because without a job they were facing homelessness or suicide, would you behave differently?

Support Covid-19 Global Unemployment Task Force.

The Suicides around Covid-19 related issues are serious. Essential workers, government workers, employment agencies, and Corporate HR departments must be trained on the impact they have to influence and in fact, save lives.

As a community we MUST IMMEDIATELY become aware of the nature of suffering from lack of jobs. We must mobilize REAL SOLUTIONS to the Covid-19 impacted and laid off/unemployed worker community with or without COVID.

    • Emergency Industry training for crisis sensitive communications for the Employment, Healthcare and Financial Industries
  3. Crisis Intervention that improves the references, training, videos and resources in our Covid-19 A-Z guide
    • Guest bloggers on Career Development, Suicide Prevention, Crisis Resources for regions of impact.
